It is time for Muslims to see the [Masjid] not simply as a "place of worship" but rather as a [[Community Hub]], that is, the spiritual centre of a thriving community ecosystem. The [Metacrisis] will profoundly impact our relationship to the world. Notably, as Muslims who are deeply scattered all over the world, our global perception of distance will shift. Mecca, our [[Spiritual Centre]], will be increasingly in accessible. Our relationship to space will return to a human scale, not unlike traditional societies.
